Performing Art Grants for Local Groups
If your local 501(c)3 nonprofit performing arts group wishes to use the Florence Events Center, FACE can help offset your costs with a Performance Grant.
Making Rental Fees
For a venue of this caliber, there are fees involved to administer, clean, and maintain the FEC. FACE raises funds to grant to your performing nonprofit organization to help you afford the rental fees and market your event and help ensure excellent attendance.
Depending on your needs (and our available funds), we can award grants up to $740.
Receiving a grant is not guaranteed.
Complete an application form available here or request one at the FEC box office, 715 Quince St. in Florence.
If funds for performing art grants are available, an in-person or video conference presentation will be arranged to answer questions and set expectations for the receiving and use of grant monies. In addition, you will receive guidelines on reporting to FACE on the successful completion of your performance event.
Working Alongside FACE
Every group benefitting from FACE’s art grants is expected to attend and participate in at least one FACE meeting during the grant cycle. Participating in meetings is vital to support FACE’s work in the community. We value your input and want to help make your event a success. Grant recipients will provide FACE with a minimum of one pair of tickets to its event for promotional purposes.
FACE will be allowed to attend your group’s meetings and will receive an electronic copy of your group’s meeting minutes, budget, and annual plans. FACE will receive donor status commensurate with the amount of the grant and corresponding recognition in promotional materials provided to other sponsors, table space in the FEC lobby during your event, and recognition in programs and/or from the stage prior to the event.
